Position: Loan Officer
We’re growing our team! Neighborhood Community Development Fund is currently looking for a Loan Officer to help support the sustainability and growth of our loan customers. If you’re interested, learn more and apply below.
The Loan Officer is responsible for evaluating and underwriting loan applications for people or businesses and presenting them to a loan review committee for approval. The individual will act as liaison between customers and the organization and will help qualified applicants acquire loans in a timely manner.
Primary responsibilities include: 1) evaluating credit worthiness by processing loan applications and documentation within specified limits; 2) interviewing applicants to determine financial eligibility and feasibility of granting loans; 3) completing loan contracts and counseling clients on policies and restrictions; 4) developing referral networks, suggesting alternate channels and cross-selling products and services to accomplish quotas; 5) Marketing loan products to eligible applicants through social media, seminars, printed materials, sales calls and other methods.
